Provide a forum for IICA members to enhance their knowledge.
Further the science and practice of measurement, instrumentation and control.
Improve the status of its membership
Foster high standards for design and manufacture of instrumentation and of control techniques
Encourage education in the theory and practice of instrumentation and control, and allied subjects.
Promote the standardisation of measuring instruments and determination of standard technology.
Support improvements in legislation affecting the practice of instrumentation and control.
IN ORDER TO MEET THESE OBJECTIVES, THE IICA CONTINUALLY UNDERTAKES OFFICIAL REPRESENTATION AND CO-OPERATION
(a) On curriculum bodies for
(i) Trade and Post-Trade Certificate Courses.
(ii) Graduate and Post-Graduate Courses.
(b) With Standards Australia.
(c) With related international bodies (ISA).
(d) On executive committees for exhibitions and symposia.
(e) With related Australian professional bodies such as The Institution of Engineers Australia.
